Kootenay Landlord Workshop - 2024

The West Kootenay Landlords Society is proud to be sponsoring an invaluable workshop for landlords and property managers on Saturday, October 26th, 2024 from 9:00am to 5:00pm at the Prestige Lakeside Resort in Nelson. Our speaker will be Al Kemp of A. G. Kemp & Associates who is widely regarded as the leading authority on residential tenancies in BC.

This year, Al will be covering some of the finer points of tenant selection and management, how to prepare for Direct Request applications, the new facilitated settlement conference, and presenting some case studies in RTB decisions.

There will also be some updates on changes to the law and RTB policies and procedures, as well as what may be in store in the future.

You can also ask questions of our experts and network with other Kootenay area landlords.

Refreshments will be provided throughout the day, and our lunch break will be catered by the Prestige.
